Support
WAMM is a small product, so support is a real person reading your email rather than a ticket queue. Tell us what happened and what you expected instead, and we will get back to you.
We aim to reply within two business days. For a bug, it helps enormously if you include the screen you were on, what you tapped, and whether you were on the web app, iOS, or Android.
Getting your data out
Open Settings and choose Export data. You get a machine-readable file containing everything WAMM holds for you — accounts, holdings, transactions, recurring items, subscriptions, budgets, households, and net-worth history. You do not need to ask us for it, and there is no charge.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account permanently removes your data, including any household you own along with its shared history. This cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy. If you would rather we carried out the deletion for you, email us from the address on the account and we will action it.
On mobile, if you have been using WAMM without an account, your data is on your device only — Delete all data in settings wipes it, and we never held anything to delete.
Sign-in trouble
WAMM has no password of its own; you sign in with Google or with Apple. If sign-in fails, first confirm you are choosing the same provider and address you originally used. Note that signing in with Apple using Hide My Email creates a different address from your real one — so if you first signed up with Google, use Google. Household invites resolve only for the exact address they were sent to, for the same reason.
A figure looks wrong
Check first whether the row is marked unpriced or flagged as not converted. WAMM deliberately excludes anything it cannot value or convert rather than guessing at it, and it says so on screen — so a total that looks low usually has an unpriced holding or a missing exchange rate behind it. If the figure is still wrong after that, email us with the screen and the numbers you expected.
Gmail import
Connecting Gmail is optional and read-only, and nothing it finds is ever saved without you approving it. You can disconnect at any time from settings without losing anything you have already recorded.
Privacy and terms
What we do with your data is set out in full in the privacy policy, and the terms of using WAMM are in the terms of service.
